The Way of Heaven seeks balance and equality. In contrast, man often prioritizes accumulation and excess. To align with the Way of Heaven, we must learn to take from excess and give to what lacks, seeking balance.

Chapter 77

The Way of Heaven,
Is like bending a bow?
The high is lowered, and the low is raised.
If the string is too long, it is shortened;
If there is not enough, it is made longer.
The Way of Heaven is to take from what has too much and give to what does not have enough.
Man’s way is different. He takes from those who do not have enough to give to those who already have too much.

What's Master DudeWay Say?

It's like that one episode of "Friends," you know? The one where they all fight over who gets the last piece of pizza, while Joey sits back with a whole pizza of his own. In the end, they realize they've been fighting over scraps while Joey had too much. Life's just like that sometimes. We need to redistribute, not hoard.

Dudeism Abides

Life's like that, man. Just like a bow, you gotta find the balance. Too tight, it snaps. Too loose, it doesn't work. But society, they've got it all wrong. They keep giving to the rich and taking from the poor. That ain't right.

Bow bends, balance sought,
Heaven takes and also gives,
Find the middle thought.
