Tao is about letting go and allowing things to happen naturally.

Chapter 48

In the pursuit of learning, every day something is added.
In the pursuit of the Tao, every day something is dropped.
Less and less do you need to force things, until finally you arrive at non-action.
When nothing is done, nothing is left undone.
The world is won by letting things take their own course.

What's Master DudeWay Say?

This reminds me of the ethos that Bruce Lee embodied in his martial arts philosophy, "Be like water." Water does not force its way, it flows naturally, adapting and taking the shape of its container. Like water, we should drop our rigidities, our forced actions, and let things happen naturally. Just go with the flow, man.

Dudeism Abides

Take it easy, let things happen naturally.

Drop a bit each day,
Like water, flow in Tao's way,
Let life's play, just play.
